New Theatre Replaces One Destroyed by Flood in May 2010

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – November 10, 2011 -- Tuesday, November 15 will be Nashville Film Festival (NaFF) / Red Carpet Day at the new Regal Cinemas Opry Mills Stadium 20 & IMAX as part of the theatre's Grand Opening preview week celebration. In addition to more than a dozen other popular films, theatregoers that day will get special screenings of Cannes Film Festival hit "The Artist," "My Week With Marilyn," starring Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branaugh, and 2011 NaFF winners "Weekend" (Bridgestone Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature) and "The First Grader" (Southwest Airlines Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature).
 
MThe Artistovies, popcorn and soft drinks are $2 all day and all proceeds benefit NaFF. Clear Channel is the day's sponsor. The $2 promotion extends the length of the preview days, Monday-Wednesday, November 14-16, with a different charity benefiting each day. The official grand opening of the theatre will be Friday, November 18 with first-run features including "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1" and "Happy Feet 2" in IMAX 3D.

Nashville Film Festival
Nashville Film Festival (NaFF) is a cultural arts institution that inspires, educates and entertains through an annual celebration of the art of motion pictures, year-round events and community outreach.
