NaFF loves to be scared too!
Many people believe that film festivals are only for fans of art house drama, documentary, foreign film. While you can find those films aplenty there are also great options for fans of edgier films too.
NaFF is presenting a bevy of films both as part of the popular graveyard shift and throughout the festival that are sure to get your spine tingling. Here are three must see films for fans of darker fare:
Sightseers is a film that's not only horrific but it's also darkly funny. A man innocently wants to show his girlfriend his world. What follows is a shocking and hilarious road trip. This film is executive produced by Edgar Wright who also brought us Shaun of the Dead.
Here Comes the Devil tells the story of a couple that loses their children in some caves. When the children eventually reappear it quickly becomes apparent that they aren't the same kids they once where.
The Rambler is a film that warns us of what can happen if we get too off the beaten path. When a man is released from prison he travels the back roads on the way to reconnecting with his brother. What he discovers along the way can only be described as depraved.
This is only a small sampling of the fantastic selection of horror films showing at NaFF this year! Stop by the box office to snag some tickets or order them online here!
