Silver Linings Playbook, the latest from David O. Russell (Flirting with Disaster, The Fighter) has taken the coveted People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival. It's coveted because you may have heard of a few of the past winners - The King's Speech, Slumdog Millionaire - The Artist was runner-up last year. Even foreign film sensations Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Amelie received major boosts by picking up this prize.
