So, last night I was one of about 500 folks who caught a sneak peek at The Dark Knight Rises at Regal Opry Mills (one of the very few reasons you'll ever find me driving through that traffic).
Count me on the side of people who like the movie (although I wasn't thrilled with Hanz Zimmer's over-bearing score), but all morning I've been thinking that I would've enjoyed it a lot more if I'd seen Batman Begins one more time. It's even more necessary to see than The Dark Knight (and The Dark Knight is more seared into my memory than is Batman Begins). So, if you're planning on catching The Dark Knight Rises this weekend, do yourself a favor and go to your VOD and rent Batman Begins. You'll be glad you did.
