In fact, it was 1175 days ago...But, did any of you who came to see (500) Days of Summer (2009's opening night film) think that director Marc Webb (pictured here with myself and Variety critic Joe Leydon) would end up having the biggest single Tuesday gross in history?
Have you seen The Amazing Spider-Man yet? Obviously, a lot of people have. And a whole lot more will have seen it by the end of this holiday weekend.
That was a great opening to the festival that year, especially considering that the year before that was THE DEAL.
